Simione Kuruvoli was responsible for all but three points in the victory. Frank Lomani scored the final three points of the game for Figi as the team earned its first win in World Cup play.
The last time Georgia and Fiji met dates back to 2021 in an international friendly and resulted in a 15-15 draw.
